Sunset Hike @ Buffalo Point. June 5.

Join park naturalist for a guided hike up our .4 mile trail to the top of Buffalo Point. We will gather and watch the sunset before hiking back to the parking lot.

Bring a light for the hike down if you wish. 7:30-9 pm.

OAS Star Party. June 12.

Bring a telescope or just your curiosity and join Ogden Astronomical Society for a presentation and some star viewing. Program starts at 8 pm. Must be on park by 9 pm as gate will close.

Come and gaze into galaxies, explore planets and learn about our universe.

Meet at White Rock Bay site 6.

Junior Ranger Program - Saltwater. June 12.

Learn why the lake is salty, what lives in the water, and try your hand at floating in one of the saltiest lakes in the world.

Naturalist Skills - Plant ID. June 26.

Earn another stamp on your card as we explore the plants of Antelope Island. We will seek out different plant species, learn how to identify them using a guide, and find out some traditional uses.

Be prepared to taste, feel, and explore the plant life! Part of the Naturalist Skills series. Attend five programs and earn a free pass to the Island.

Homeschool Program - Mammals of Antelope Island. June 29.

What is a mammal? Who lives here on the Island? Touch and explore some mammal furs, find out how you and bison are related, and go on a hike to find tracks and sign. Science-based curriculum-driven program open to all elementary age homeschool students. Homeschool students receive discounted rate upon entering the park.

Reservations are required and can be made by calling 801-721-9569 or emailing michellecroft@utah.gov. First come, first serve.
